Brown County Speedway Revamped!

Brown County Speedway is under new management for this coming 2020 race season and the racing community has reason to be excited. During the last 5 to 10 years of racing at the speedway there has been many different promoters bringing along many different inconsistencies. Brown County Speedway is actually owned by the Brown county so promoters don’t know how long they may have the track. This inconvenience has discouraged past promoters to make an investment in the track to make improvements. With all this being said the new promoters instantly started to make major improvements to the track by bringing in new dirt and reshaping the track back to it’s old glory.

“Showtime” Kent Arment

Kent Arment is arguably the greatest of all time when it comes to dirt track racing in the northern part of the country. Kent is a second generation driver out of Aberdeen, SD and has piloted his Wissota Modified and Late Model to over 600 wins, 5 national championships and 60 plus track championships so you can about imagine why he’s nicknamed “showtime”. All of those accolades and he is still adding to them. Kent is also one of the most helpful and nicest guys at the racetrack always willing to help and offer advise to the other drivers.
